This past weekend I had the opportunity to go backpacking into White Pine Lake with my dad, brother-in-law, and uncle. I must be in better shape than the last time I did this. It wasn't as hard as I remember. We had a good time. We were trying to break tradition and eat our tin-foil-dinners while it was still light out, but some traditions can't be broken no matter how hard you try.
Here is our camp. Isn't that a wonderful fire. I built it so of course it is. We haven't set up camp at this point. You can see our packs laying up against the log.
